Thanks to all who attended the Women’s Art Library App launch!
We took the opportunity to thank the 7 artists featured on the WAL App: Marcia Bennett-Male, Claire Collison, Angela Edmonds, Caroline Hands, Kathleen Fox, Freddie Robins and Kim Thornton. Each artist was given a ‘How to Make an Archive Travel?’ bag (designed by the amazing Naho Matsuda). Stay tuned for an opportunity to win one yourself!
We also curated an exhibit on how the WAL App was made in the displays located at the entrance to the Special Collections and Archives room at Goldsmiths Library. For those of you who could not attend last night and would like to learn more about the WAL App, the exhibit will be on display until mid April.
It was thrilling to see everyone trying out the WAL App at the launch, and great to hear your feedback. We hope you will enjoy the WAL App and keep coming back for more news on how the project develops.
Many thanks to the Women’s Art Library and the Centre for Invention and Social Process for hosting and supporting the event.
